As a retired engineer and product developer who likes minimalist design, I was captivated some years ago by an online physics demonstration of pendulum waves.  I decided to see if I could improve the aesthetics. I changed the shape of the pendulums and nested them vertically.  That led to the tabletop Migration model shown on the home page. A larger version with overhead seagulls was installed in a beach house in Nantucket.  Then an even larger version was installed for public display at Sugar Bob’s Finest Kind in Chester Vermont.
